Goulburn River

current water temp 16 degrees
The river’s flow remains low and clear, offering ample opportunity for avid fly fishers. The use of dry flies, such as the Royal Wolf, Parachute Adams, and CDC Caddis, has proven to be highly successful in catching fish weighing between 150g to 500g, with occasional larger ones being caught as well.

Howqua River

The river is looking great with plenty of smaller fish being caught with the odd good fish as reward for anglers who take the time to sit and watch and plan their attack with well presented dry fly with a good drift providing good fish.
All the rivers in the area are fishing well,  just remember with the lower waters and the heat these fish are sitting high in the runs sometimes right up in the white water so keep on your fly and keep up with your treatments etc. and you should have a great session.
